Knit Wear in Snow

I took a picture of knit wear in 'Free People' store.

I want to mix both images of winter and nature. So I put oranic knit fabric to show cold weather with colors of green in background. Also I try to make knit patterns in various colors. 

Red with lighting

Red light of Chirstmas tree and  decoration in the Japanese restaurant are combined together in this journal page. I want to express sense of warm and passion. I put knit, velvet fabrics with my black and red patterns of nature.  

Passaionate colors from furnitures

When I went to a furniture showroom in Soho, 

I felt strong passion and it naturally connects to my passion of fashion. 

I designed several patterns to show strong colors with my feeling forward my dream.

Returning to Origin

Everything had been started from nature. I want to focus on meanng of nature and

 I want to make a connection among all of my journals. 

Even one of my inspirations, furnitures, is made of wood and orgainic fabrics. 

During several weeks, I designed patterns which are inspired by trees, flowers and snow.  

Fashion of Winter

I used patterns that I had created previous journals- snow print, 

floral and trunks of tree by changing colors to fit winter season and 

applied to pictures of three manequins whcih are in a store ‘Free People’. 

Eco Fashion

Recently there are many designers who

design with a heart to contribute making the sustainable fashion.

Using organic fabrics and symbolic decorations on fabric

is the way of design which has a social conscience.

I especially really like the colours from nature and decoration of

flowers and plants. There are a lot of  natural beauties in nature and 

I am interested in natural trimmings and I was inspired by

the trunk of trees.

Fashion of Winter

I went to Shopping during last week.

I felt winter in a show room of Free People.

There were decoration and lighting of Christmas already.

The dresses looked like queen of snow’s dresses. 

Even though it expressed winter through decoration,

the colours of fashion were very warm and shiny.

Sense of Green

Nature 

When I went to terrace in my apartment, 

there were still many leaves on trees.

It is very cold and chilly these days 

but I saw the beauties of nature play in this place. 

The colors from the nature were very delicate and subtle. 

Especially green color made me feel comfortable 

with black night view. Also the lighting from 

lamps made the atmosphere warmer. I came up with a lamp

which is made by an eco-friendly designer Metall T. Cooper.

I took a picture of his artwork in Ingo Maurer LLC 89 Grand Street. 

There were three realistic butterflies with lighting. 

Whenever I walk around time square, neon sign makes me excited but 

these lightings from nature makes me smile with warm air.

Red lighting in Japanese Restaurant HARU

I went to a Japanese restaurant 

during weekend.I was inspired 

by red lighting there and it was

really captured my eyes. 

In this restaurant, there are 

many candle lights with 

dark red colors from

ceiling. I saw some patterns 

 from shadows of red lamps.

Geometric Patterns with Red

I found some geometric patterns

in furniture showroom. 

There were chair collection on

a shelf with various colors with 

red background. 

It is really interesting to find

color blocking on linear patterns.

Patterns in Furnitures

There were tangled

patterns in furnitures

in a showroom.  They

were very complicated

and looked like blood

 vessel or DNA. Colors 

in this showroom are 

red and white .This 

loud color combination 

also makes me come up

with  blood.

Fashion is my Passion

Since I was 4 years old, 

I have dreamt to be 

a fashion desinger.

After thenI started painting 

and drawing and entered 

arts high school.

Still now whenever I saw

fashion show, my heart starts

pounding. That is why I am 

here in NYC to study 

fashion design.

I visited a show room in Soho.

There was a lamp with pieces of  broken dish.

It inspired me a lot with green colors of wall and very sharpshape of lighting.
